Venom: The Movie

From Spiderman 3, comes Venom: The Movie. Yep, they horribly ugly creature in the last of the Spiderman movies has his own coming.

Sony is 'moving forward' with the Spiderman Spin-Off.

The character is based on the nemesis that appeared in Spider-Man 3, played by Topher Grace.

The Venom is a parasite that attaches itself to its host via a gooey and sticky substance and then gives that host some special powers.

Sony can either rehire Topher or have the option of casting a new actor. Insiders speculate that the studio does not feel confident in Grace's ability to carry a big tentpole film on his own.

Sony already commissioned a draft of the script to be made by Jacob Estes, a writer from the film Mean Creek.

However, they are considering going in a different direction from Estes's script and are already seeking writers to create a new draft.

We think this will be much more interesting than the last 2 Spiderman movies.

LAPD Officer: "Lindsay Lohan is Gay"

LA Councilman Dennis Zine is behind a proposal to put stricter laws on the ways the paparazzi operate.

And, today when the meeting took place as to what should be done, it turned more into a showdown between Zine and LAPD Chief William Bratton, who openly opposes the new legislation.

According to Chief Bratton, he decided to leave his morning workout and show up at 6am to be near reporters since apparently Zine's last live interview about the paparazzi aggravated him so much.

He decided to go and "set the record straight."

Bratton said, "I figured I'd come over and straighten out — we have no intention of participating in today's hearing. It's a total waste of time. We have sufficient laws on the books that we enforce to deal with this issue."

Bratton continued on by saying that he puts the blame on celebrities, such as Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, for the constant issues with the paparazzi.

He adds, "If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving; Paris is out of town not bothering anybody, thank God; and, evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don't seem to have much of an issue."

Bratton adds, "If the ones that attract the paparazzi behave in the first place, like we expect of anybody, that solves about 90 percent of the problem. The rest of it we can deal with. So as far as all this grandstanding and foolishness, waste of city time on this issue — and the fact that I felt aggravated enough about it to interrupt my workout to come over and set the record straight, LAPD has no intention of participating in this farce."

In a recent report Katy Perry joked about doing a lesbian kiss at the Teen Choice Awards with Teen-Sensation Miley Cyrus.

Miley did not have a sense of humor over the comment...

"No thanks. She sang on my record. So I think she's kind of getting back at me, because she was doing harmonies and backgrounds."

Perez Hilton talked exclusively to Katy, "6 weeks in a row at number one." She says.

Miley may be one of the biggest Pop-Phenomenon's ever but it doesn't give her any kind of reason to feel she's above Katy.

Mel B's Third Autobiography

Spice Girl Mel B, has written 2 Autobiography's including both called "Catch A Fire". Of course the second was just a re-edit and extended ending. Now rumors have it Scary Spice has started on another.

Mel B has been involved in much since the release of her last book (2002) including Dancing With The Stars, Eddie Murphy Drama, Her own Fashion Line, and The Return of the Spice Girls.

Ryan Seacrest: Attacked by Sharks

The American Idol host said he was "about eight feet out" when he felt something swim by him.

"I thought it was a stick," he said. "I wasn't sure what had happened."

Then, he said, "I saw it swim! He took a bite, and he left."

Seacrest, 33, said the shark's tooth "wasn't a great thing to find. It was like finding a splinter!"

Although he said he was "in pain," Ryan wasn't hurt too badly, but said he "needed to take an Advil."

Asked by his radio co-host if anyone else was bitten, Seacrest said: "No, just me, of course! There were like 1,000 people in the ocean, and I get bit by the shark!"

Ryan Seacrest & Heidi Klum to Host Emmy's

The 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards are right around the corner and this year the suits at ABC are spicing up the show.

Ryan Seacrest, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel from "Deal or No Deal," Tom Bergeron from "Dancing With the Stars," and Jeff Probst from "Survivor" will all co-host the awards show.

All five are also nominated for the night's new category, Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program. Who will you be rooting for?

The Emmy's will air live on ABC on September 21, 2008 from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

Get this... a 20 year old kid named Spencer Taylor was arrested Sunday Morning for trying to steal Batman posters, as well as other collectibles, from a movie theater nearby.

Yeah... and that is him dressed as the Joker... Seriously...

The Joker wannabe was charged with felony larceny and malicious destruction of property. They even took 2 mugshots of him one with the makeup and one without.

Hilary's 5th Album

Singer-Songwriter, Hilary Duff is set to get into the studio this week to start on her new album. Approximately six songs have already been written-according to Hilary Duff Web. Eleven instrumentals have circulated from five different producers, as well.

Hilary's next single "Reach Out (And Touch Me)" will hit airwaves this August, head-to-head with Pink's new single "So What". A video for Hilary's song should also be filmed in the next few weeks.

"Reach Out," written by Kara DioGuardi and Duff herself, and is a slightly edgier song for popstar. It features a sample from the Marilyn Manson song "Personal Jesus."

The song was also produced by the talented Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, who has produced major hits like Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love." Tedder also produced his own band's "Apologize."

One of the best actresses in the world is returning to TV after a long hiatus... Holly Marie Combs! Maybe you remember her from a little ditty Charmed? Oh yeah, you remember that show with the super-hot witches that became a cult phenomenon, right?

The Backstreet Boys are Back Still Here! They're going in the studio in 2009 to put out their new album 'Still Here'.

But before that, AJ Mclean announced on March 19, 2008 that he's finished recording and will release his first solo material some time in 2008.

Mel B Postpones New Album

Everyone knows this woman as someone different. Scary Spice from the Spice Girls? Mel B from Dancing With The Stars? Eddie Murphy's Baby's Mama? Anywayy, Girl Power is on hold until 2009 now.

Earlier this year after The Spice Girls 2008 Tour ended, Scary told the press she was working on an album with Rodney Jerkins, Janet Jackson & Missy Elliott. A couple months later Mel told the press she was not working with Janet or Missy and now she's telling the press that she's holding her album until 2009.

'Reimagined' is the name of her upcoming album. With all these 'hold-ups' we're thinking this just may be the next big thing!

She's also stated there's a song entitled 'Beverly Hills Cock' on the album referring to the nickname band mate Victoria Beckham gave Eddie Murphy on her reality show last year.

LeBouf gets another DUI

Shia LeBeouf was busted this morning by LA police Officers for Driving Under The Influence.

A spokesman for the LAPD said "it was clear to officers who responded to the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated, and he was subsequently arrested."

LeBeouf, is passenger and the other driver were all injured but none too badly.

RoboCop Remake

MGM has signed on for the RoboCop Remake with director Darren Aronofsky.

Phoenix Pictures' Chairman and CEO Mike Medavoy said: "After making the first RoboCop at Orion more than 20 years ago, I'm thrilled to be helping to return this character to the screen with our partners at MGM and through the eyes of Darren Aronofsky and David Self."

"Two Corey's" get's the axe

Welllp it's only been a season of "The Two Corey's" starring Corey Feldman & Corey Haim and they've already been AXED from the network.

In November 2006, Williams moved back to Washington, D.C. and started a new fine arts program for youth at Howard University's Children's Theater. She has made appearances on local television advertisements in the D.C. area. Her next project is 'Steppin': The Movie' which reunites her with Family Matters co-stars Reginald VelJohnson (Carl of Family Matters) and Darius McCrary (Eddie of Family Matters).

Jewel announces 9th Album already!

Signer-Songwriter Jewel has posted a new blog on her website about doing a new album. Even the the pop-turned-country phenom has just released one last month and she even just released a new song off of the album 'I Do'. She described the future album being just acoustic, reminiscent of her 'Pieces Of You' album which sold 12 Million+ Albums. She wrote about recording a new album sometime around March 2009. Although the bit in the blog she wrote has DISAPPEARED!!! Why Jewel, do you tease your fans? If there is going to be a follow-up to a masterpiece album like that, we have a right to know!
