Hmmm…..inneresting casting!
According to reports, Billy Bob Thornton has been cast as Freddy Krueger for the Nightmare On Elm Street remake.
The original Freddy, Robert Englund, says he thinks Billy Bob is an "excellent choice" and, "A big budget should mean the film will look a lot better than some of the old movies."

In case you didn't know, Full House's Uncle Joey, comedian Dave Coulier was the inspiration for Alanis Morissette's legendary breakthrough song, You Oughta Know.
Now,he's finally talking about it!
In a new interview, Coulier reveals where he was when he first heard the song and how he eventually patched things up with his 'angry' ex:
Coulier was driving when he first heard it. "I said, 'Wow, this girl is angry.' And then I said, 'Oh man, I think it's Alanis.' . . . I listened to the song over and over again, and I said, 'I think I have really hurt this person.' I tried to contact her and I finally got a hold of her. And at the same time, the press was calling and saying, 'You want to comment on this song?' I called her and I said, 'Hi. Uh, what do you want me to say?' And she said, 'You can say whatever you want.' We saw each other and hung out for an entire day. And it was beautiful. It was one of those things where it was kind of like, 'We're good.' "
We never would have pegged Uncle Joey as such a heartbreaker!

Multi-platinum recording artist Jewel, and 9-time World Champion Cowboy Ty Murray said “I Do” at the Atlantis/Cove Resort in the Bahamas on August 7th. The longtime couple eloped to the islands to exchange nuptials.
“I dreamt about this day since I was a little girl on a ranch in Alaska,” said Jewel. “It was relaxed and romantic. I wore a traditional wedding gown and diamonds and he wore jeans and a button down shirt! Ty’s definitely my perfect prince.”
“We both have been so blessed in our lives,” stated Ty. “We’re lucky to have each other and look forward to starting a family together.”
Three-time Grammy nominee, Jewel, is currently on tour with Brad Paisley promoting her new country album, Perfectly Clear. In a classic example of life imitating art, her new single is titled, “I Do.” The autobiographical track was written about her relationship with Ty, who is also featured in the music video.
The couple, who have been together 10 years, live on a 2200 acre working ranch in Stephenville, TX.
The smash single of the summer, Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl, is the #1 song in America once more.
This makes it SEVEN weeks in a row at the top spot!
I Kissed A Girl could end up being the biggest single of the entire year, if it keeps up at this pace.

Miley Cyrus opened up wide to the new issue of Seventeen magazine about her ex-boyfriend Nick!
She finally admitted to it!
"We became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met. He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, 'I think you're beautiful and I really like you.' And I was like, 'Oh, my gosh, I like you so much.'"

Looks like some of the former cast members from Friends are pretty damn cheap!
Last month it was found out how Matt LeBlanc's former business manager is suing him, seeking $1 million for unpaid commissions.
Now, the latest Friend facing legal action is Lisa Kudrow.
Kudrow's former manager has filed a suit against the blonde.
He claims that Kudrow failed to pay him commissions since she fired him back in 2007.
At the moment, he's seeking damages of at least $50,000.
Well that's better than a million!
Her manager, Scott Howard, started working for Kudrow back in 1991, before she made it big on Friends.
Then years later, during her 10th year on the show, the two of them agreed to split his commission rate down to just 5%.
Howard states that during her time with the show and after, Kudrow paid all of his commissions.
However, since his firing, she's allegedly refused to pay him any commissions for her time on Friends and all work she did while he was her manager.
At the moment, Kudrow has no comment.

The character is based on the nemesis that appeared in Spider-Man 3, played by Topher Grace.
The Venom is a parasite that attaches itself to its host via a gooey and sticky substance and then gives that host some special powers.
Sony can either rehire Topher or have the option of casting a new actor. Insiders speculate that the studio does not feel confident in Grace's ability to carry a big tentpole film on his own.
Sony already commissioned a draft of the script to be made by Jacob Estes, a writer from the film Mean Creek.
However, they are considering going in a different direction from Estes's script and are already seeking writers to create a new draft.
We think this will be much more interesting than the last 2 Spiderman movies.And, today when the meeting took place as to what should be done, it turned more into a showdown between Zine and LAPD Chief William Bratton, who openly opposes the new legislation.
According to Chief Bratton, he decided to leave his morning workout and show up at 6am to be near reporters since apparently Zine's last live interview about the paparazzi aggravated him so much.
He decided to go and "set the record straight."
Bratton said, "I figured I'd come over and straighten out — we have no intention of participating in today's hearing. It's a total waste of time. We have sufficient laws on the books that we enforce to deal with this issue."
Bratton continued on by saying that he puts the blame on celebrities, such as Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, for the constant issues with the paparazzi.
He adds, "If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving; Paris is out of town not bothering anybody, thank God; and, evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don't seem to have much of an issue."
Bratton adds, "If the ones that attract the paparazzi behave in the first place, like we expect of anybody, that solves about 90 percent of the problem. The rest of it we can deal with. So as far as all this grandstanding and foolishness, waste of city time on this issue — and the fact that I felt aggravated enough about it to interrupt my workout to come over and set the record straight, LAPD has no intention of participating in this farce."
